THIS 200 year old stone farmhouse is oozing with character and has been tastefully and sympathetically renovated by its owners.
It sits in five acres of pasture, woodland and fruit trees with beautiful views to the south over spectacular, undulating French countryside.
The property sits on top of a small hill just outside the sleepy little village of Ferrensac near the Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne borders.
From the early part of the 18th until the begining of the 19th century the farm was the only one with a kiln and so it was the village bakery for almost 100 years.
The bread oven is well preserved to this day and a small pigeonnier was built above it that now houses the pool equipment.
The house itself is a very spacious 250m2 on three levels. The main entrance is into a large 50m2 lounge with a beautifully restored fireplace with woodburner.
