One of three gites and a main house that comprise this gite complex for sale in the Dordogne at 599,550 euros (including agency fees).

Le Poulallier is one of our two 4 person gites. It is in the front of the property, in a separate building, at 90 degrees to the main building.

As the name implies, it was once the chicken house, but all traces of them have long been cleared away! It is entered via a covered, east’ish facing veranda which is great for breakfasts in the morning or if you need shade from the midday sun.

Kitchen/Lounge/Diner

This is an L-shaped room (maximum dimensions are 6 x 6m) with tiled floor, and a beamed cathedral ceiling. There is fully fitted kitchen, with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The bread oven opening has been converted into a window with the oven door acting as a shutter. The rest of the space is used as a lounge/dinner with seating for 4. Master Bedroom

A 3.6 x 2.7m room with a feature stone wall and a tiled floor. There is a double bed, fitted wardrobe, bedside tables as well as a chest of drawers for storage. There is a door to the private rear terrace (mentioned above).

Twin Bedroom

This 3.4 x 3.1m room has a tiled floor and a window to the front of the building. It has twin beds, fitted wardrobe and a chest of drawers for storage.

The other two rooms off the inner hall are to the Shower room and separate toilet.

Shower Room

This is a 2.4 x 2m room with fully tiled floor and walls. There is a shower cubicle, bidet and hand basin.

Toilet

As in La Ferme, in common with normal French practices the toilet is in a separate room. It is 2 x 1.8m with a tiled floor, WC and hand basin
