One of three gites and a main house that comprise this gite complex for sale in the Dordogne at 599,550 euros (including agency fees).

LA FERME is one of our two 4 person gites. It is at the rear of the building so remains cool in the summer and is the nearest gite to the swimming pool.

It is entered through a gravel courtyard and patio which is separated from the garden by a 10ft hedge on two sides and by walls on two sides.

You enter into the gite through the main entrance into the lounge /kitchen/diner.

Kitchen Dining/Living

This large (5.5 x 5m) room has a beamed cathedral ceiling, a mixture of plastered and exposed stone walls and tiled floor. Along one wall is a fully fitted kitchen area with fridge/freezer, dishwasher and cooker.

There is a separate utility and storage room with a washing machine. (5.5 x 1.8m). The rest of the room is devoted to dining and living space.

There is a lockable door to La Petite Maison (Sleeps 2, details later) so that they can be combined into a 6 person gite. From this area you go into an internal hallway with access to the rest of the gite. The door to the left leads to

Main Bedroom

This double room is 4 x 3m. It has a beamed cathedral ceiling, a mixture of plastered and exposed stone walls and tiled floor. There are French doors leading to gardens. The room is furnished with a king-size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and fitted wardrobes.
Next to the main bedroom is the

Twin Bedroom

This 4 x 3.5m room also has a beamed,cathedral ceiling, exposed stone walls, window and a tiled floor tiled floor. It has a fitted wardrobe which is partly inserted into the stone wall. There is also twin beds, another wardrobe and a dressing table. This room is suitable for both adults and children so the gite can be used by either a family or 2 couples.

Bathroom

A 4 x 2.5mroom with tiled walls and floor. There is a bath (shower over), bidet and hand basin

Toilet

In common with normal French practices the toilet is in a separate room. It is 2 x 1.8m with a tiled floor and part wainscoted walls, and WC.

As mentioned, there is private outside space with BBQ. All rooms except the utility room, are heated with electric wall heaters.
